Even if the cremains or body are not buried there--whether it is on a gravesite at a cemetery,
or in a garden--
you can do this to remember them.
We have a lot of clients coming to us saying they own one grave and wish to have both of their cremains eventually buried on that same grave when the time comes. This has us lead them through monument choices that are a thinner but taller design to incorporate both name/dates on the one grave width. The shapes, sizes and granite colors are almost limitless.
These two units are cremation niche units.
Each of the panel areas on the right open so that a cremation urn can be placed inside along with momentos and memories, and then sealed shut to be secure from weather elements. The interior is 12" x 12" in each niche. Then to the left is an open area that could be used for a statue, flower vase, candle or solar light. We engrave the name/date information on the front of the niche panel along with desired artwork or verses.
The black unit is something we have in stock now in our yard display.
We can order other granite colors also.
This is a natural looking cremation memorial that has a core hole in the granite piece for the cremains to be placed and sealed into. Then we order a personalized bronze plaque for the front of the unit.
There are other shapes and we can do them for 1 or more
This is a multiple person cremation unit that is flush to the ground on a cremation plot in a local cemetery.
This is a flush to the ground unit which has a cremation liner with bronze cap on each end of the marker. There is a bronze vase installed at the top that turns upside down when not in use, or when the cemetery must drive over the top of it.
These cremation granite pillars have become a very popular way to do cremation inurnments. This photo shows shorter single units and the two in the center are double or triple cremation units. The diagram above shows how the cremation filled liner goes inside the granite unit, then there is a bronze cover that is sealed at the top of the core hole, and then the square bronze name plaque gets secured to the top of the unit.
These units surrounding show a cremation liner inserted in the granite base and then the liner is sealed with the cremains inside of it. Then the bronze cap is secured into the granite with one way screws which cannot be removed.
When the caps are put into place, and they are not in use to cover cremains yet, we install a standard screw that can be removed when cremation inurment is needed.
Then the unit is secured with the one way screws we would have provided to the family at time of purchase.
These two units show units that have a granite panel that can be moved in order to place a cremation urn and keepsakes inside before the unit is sealed up again.
Benches have long been a preferred way to mark a grave so that the loved ones visiting the grave have a place to sit and contemplate or visit with their deceased loved one. But now we can incorporate the cremains inside of the bench supports where they are securely sealed.
